Boxers are a very friendly and affectionate breed,

They are an "in-your-face" breed and will follow you from room to room, they crawl in your lap, jump up on you and love to give those sloppy wet Boxer kisses. If you wouldn't enjoy these things, please do not acquire a Boxer.

You must be a real "dog person" to enjoy a Boxer!

They have their funny little quirks, like their kidney bean wiggles and the boxer 'woo woo' when they want something! If the 'woo-ing' doesnt work, then they usually plonk their head down as if it's too heavy to lift, and huff and puff to get your attention

They are absolutely dependant upon the companionship of their families

This is not a dog to be left alone unattended for hours on end. It is common to find a Boxer who suffers from separation anxiety. They need to be around people and they thrive on this special companionship. A lonely bored boxer will soon learn to occupy himself, whether that be raiding your knicker drawer or playing munchies on the couch!

They do love their home comforts and dont like to be seperated from you at bed time

Boxers LOVE exercise, they will take as much as you give and are always on the go. Boxers also do really well and enjoy Agility (as you will see in the pic below)

Many people think they are daft and can't be trained, but they are very very clever, they just love acting the fool!
